Shoulder Mounts
We use high quality
mannikins with your professionally tanned hide to recreate a mount
that you'll be proud to display. We provide many small features and
details that you don't get offered by most other Taxidermists.
We welcome you
to view other taxidermists work and then come view ours. The
difference is clear.
Hide
Preperation: When preparing your deer to be brought to the
taxidermist make sure you only cut up to the front legs. Do not cut
through the brisket area. Skin up the neck area no more than 6
inches below the ears and cut it off at that point under the hide.
Do not cut the hide. The more holes and cuts you
place in the hide the more time it takes to mount your trophy which
results in you having to pay more for the repair work. If you do
not feel comfortable skinning out your trophy, we will skin it out
if it is being mounted by us. Do not hang your trophy in weather
above 40 degrees. Bacteria begins growing the minute the animal
expires and bacteria causes hair to slip (fall out) of hides. Get
the hide into a freezer or a taxidermist as quickly as possible to
ensure the hide will be in the best possible condition and produce
the best possible mount. Ensure that the DNR tag is brought along
with the trophy to the taxidermist. Please call or e-mail for
price quote.
